Clara is one of Renew You’s deep tissue massage specialists. For the well traveled massage client who needs and likes deep manipulation work, Clara is the therapist for you. She has been a practicing massage therapist since 2005. Her experience covers spa and resort settings, as well as the rehab, multi-disciplinary clinic nature of Renew You. She is known as Renew You’s gentle and warm soul.

While her ability to help you relax or to work deeply into your aching muscles is great, she is repeatedly sought after for her adept ability to deliver…. SILENCE during your treatment. While she is certainly talkative, she is not “gabby”. If you have found you like massage, but your therapist talks through your ability to deeply relax and truly enjoy it, you will love Clara.

Many clients are shocked at how surprisingly effective Clara’s deep tissue work can be. Great strength can come from “small packages”. Clara has unusually strong hands and fabulous upper body strength for effective deep tissue work. Whether you only want a relaxation massage, a de-stressing session or are rehabbing an injury, Clara’s massage is superb. When she joined Renew You’s staff in the spring of 2006, she got busy right away and built up regular clientele very quickly – both true measures of effective high quality massage therapy work.

The good news is that Clara can give you an exceptional massage. The bad news is she is an excellent therapist, is veteran extablished and has many many regulars, so she may be hard at time to get booked in with. Important note: Especially if you seek Friday & Saturday appointments, plan on booking (or re-booking) with Clara perhaps at least 2 if not 4 weeks in advance to get your ideal time slot.

Richard Everett RMT

Richard has become to be known as Renew You’s “technical” massage specialist. He has always been focused on health. Early in high school, he had gained a keen interest in health and biology and decided at that point to further his interest and knowledge into health care. So he enrolled at the Canadian Therapeutic College (CTC) to pursue a career in registered massage therapy. After graduating and successful completion of the Ontario provincial board exams, he became a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) in 1999.

He started his massage therapy career working with a chiropractor, focusing his knowledge and skills on rehabilitative therapy. It is in this type of “rehab clinic” environment that Richard has spent his entire 12 year career. It is quite rare to find a 10-15+ year veteran massage therapist. Within four different Hamilton clinics, for over a decade he has been working closely with several chiropractors and physiotherapists on a very wide variety of difficult injury and pain cases loads. And it is because of this professional experience and exposure that Richard has been able to advance and hone his skill set to a high level. It is for these reasons that many clients who find Richard – stay addicted and attached to him.

Richard’s unique methodologies distinguish him from his colleagues because of the many advanced body work techniques that he has picked up, learned and utilizes. By incorporating joint mobilization, trigger point therapy, hydro- therapy, and other modalities into his massages, he always tries to ensure the best treatment possible to get the maximum results. Upon finding and trying Richard for massage therapy, a great many patients are positively taken back as they experience how different his treatments are compared to other RMTs they have tried, as well as the positive therapeutic benefits they receive. He is highly effective all the way aroud, but particularly with chronic shoulder, neck and low back issues.

Over the past 12 years working as a registered massage therapist, he has learned to incorporate these modalities together to create the best program, tailored to each client’s individual needs. Realizing that massage therapy is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, Richard also sees a need to create a peaceful and relaxing mood during treatment. As a registered massage therapist, he will endeavor to create a mind/ body connection in order to create a well rounded healing process for you.

Many people relate to Richard as just a regular good guy. He enjoys a busy family life with wife and two young children.

Sarah Almost RMT

Renew You welcomes Sarah Almost RMT to its staff. Sarah has been a licensed RMT practicing and honing her skills at a few locations locally for a couple of years. But she has now found her long term home at Renew You and once you get on her massage table, many people think they are truly being treated by a 10 year massage veteran!

Her skills are great and her strength is…. immense to say the least. If you REALLY like deep tissue work, you are going to have great appreciation for Sarah’s work. Especially since she does not feel that being a massage therapist is even work for her. While some other RMTs find doing deep tissue work as hard hard work, Sarah finds it to be very easy. That is how strong she is! It’s not that simply going deep is the key. It is where to and how to apply that pressure that is key. A Sarah has been winning over many many clients with extraordinarily affectionate and lavishly superlative descriptions of her work. Addiction is not too strong a word to describe how much clients rave about the appreciation of what she does and how different she is from other RMTs work.

Sarah is a family oriented person, with 2 young children – balancing life, keeping her family healthy and happy. Her previous experience as an orthopedic technologist also benefits her massage therapy work. Every person that comes is like a fresh challenge to get them to help themselves, from the athlete to a 90 year old senior. She is comfortable with all types of people. Her focus is always on the client, getting them what they want. Sarah takes pride in her work and focuses to achieve client satisfaction. She is outgoing and friendly with an open mind for learning.

So whether you are looking to work out some “knots” with a deep tissue massage or just looking for a gentle soothing massage to wash away some stress, Sarah will always do her best for you!
